News has emerged that a fight between Josh Neer and Keith Wisniewski has been targeted to take place on October 1st 2011 at the UFC On Versus 6 event. Neer is no stranger to the UFC having fought within the organization many different times over the past 6-7 years. He is now back with a four-fight deal and will want to return with a bang! Josh is a very experienced fighter and holds wins over the likes of Joe Stevenson, TJ Waldburger, Melvin Guillard and Mac Danzig. The man who he will face is Keith Wisniewski who is a very experienced MMA fighter himself. He was last seen in the UFC back in November of 2005 when he unfortunately lost a fight to Nick Thompson at UFC 56. Keith has had ten fights since then in various different organizations and is currently on a six fight win streak. He is now given an opportunity to make his mark in the UFC with a victory over Josh Neer. This should be a great fight between two very experienced fighters. I can’t wait!
