India based promotion Super Fight League have announced that they will be launching a Fantasy MMA game and their first edition of “Friday Night Fight Nights”. The new show will kick-off with SFL 4 on Oct. 12.
SFL officials made the announcement today via official press release.
The fight night’s will take place weekly at SFL’s new bespoke TV studio arena home in Mumbai, in front of a selected VIP audience. The promotion have invested a lot of money into Indian MMA, sending out scouts who have traveled across India to find the best wrestlers, kick-boxers and martial-artists, gathering together the cream of the crop of Indian fighting talent for the new show.
Here is what SFL COO, Dan Isaac had to say:
“I’m excited to introduce all our new Indian, NRI and international signings to MMA fans worldwide at Friday Fight Nights, this is going be old school MMA at its very best, it’s stand up vs ground, wrestling vs kickboxing , karate vs boxing and these guys will be swinging for the fences so watch out – Indian MMA is moving forward at lightning speed!”
SFL 4 will feature a headline bout between Kultar Singh Gill and Amr Wahman, who will engage in a welterweight battle. The event will air LIVE and free to fans around the world from 9pm India time on dedicated SFL YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/sfl.
Super Fight League have also launched a new “SFL MMA Fantasy” game that fans can play each week predicting the outcome of every fight. With scores being tracked on a leader board, players will win weekly prizes for accurate predictions and the player with the most points will win a bumper jackpot prize at the end of the year. Each week, players simply choose who they think will win each fight and if the correct winner is selected, players can earn points for choosing the correct method of victory and finishing round.
