Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) promotion, Fight UK, have confirmed the fight card for their upcoming Fight UK 9 event, which features a headline bout between current bantamweight champion Dino Gambatesa and title challenger James Saville. The show will take place at Athena in Leicester, England, on April 20.

Fight UK officials recently confirmed the fight card and headliner with themmareview.co.uk.

Dino Gambatesa last fought at Cage Warriors 49 in October 2012, where he dropped a first round submission loss against Martin McDonough. Prior to that he suffered a first round KO loss against Olivier Pastor at Cage Warriors Fight Night 6 in May 2012. Gambatesa’s last victory was against Karsten Lenjoint at Fight UK 6 in February 2012, where he scored a first round TKO victory. Dino now has the chance to get himself back into the win column with a good performance against Saville.

James Saville was last in action at Shock’n'Awe 13 earlier this month, where he scored a second round submission victory over Martin Sheridan. That win snapped a two fight losing streak, which included losses to Martin Svensson and James Brum during 2012. Prior to that James had been on a six fight winning streak, defeating notable fighters such as Niko Gjoka, Leigh Remedios and Thomas Hytten. Saville will no doubt look to begin a new winning streak by defeating Gambatesa on April 20th.
