Cage Warriors held its fourth event under the governance of Safe MMA, Cage Warriors 56, on Saturday 6th July at The Forum in London, UK. All competing professional MMA fighters were medically cleared to fight by Safe MMA.

All fighters underwent pre- and post-fight medical examinations at the event and were advised the medicalsuspensions below:

CAGE WARRIORS 56 – SAFE MMA ADVISED SUSPENSIONS

1) Brad Wheeler | 30 days |  Suspended until at least 5th August

“Deep laceration – 4cm over (L) eye. Needs stitching in two places. No concussion. Well otherwise”

2) Brett Bassett | Suspended until at least 5th August

“Deep laceration forehead. Will need stitching in 2 places. Smaller laceration under (R) eye. PERL – otherwise well”

3) Vincent Del Guerra | 30 days | Suspended until at least 5th August

“TKO”

4) Warren Kee | 30 days | Suspended until at least 5th August

“TKO”

*All quoted suspension periods are minimum number of days to full contact.

₊All fighters have been advised to seek further medical review if healing not progressing as expected or other concerns.
