Cage Warriors 60 is to play host to an exciting welterweight contest between Bola Omoyele and Aaron Wilkinson.
The TUF veterans will meet when Cage Warriors Fighting Championship returns to The Forum in Kentish Town, London, on Saturday, 5 October, 2013.
Omoyele (7-1) will be fighting for CWFC for the second time since signing an exclusive multi-fight deal with the promotion, having made an impressive debut at Cage Warriors 56 last month when he overcame Vincent del Guerra via first-round TKO.
That victory was the 31-year-old’s sixth successive first-round stoppage, in what was his first outing since appearing on the ‘Smashes’ series of The Ultimate Fighter last year.
“I’m looking forward to being back in the cage again to show what I can do,” said Omoyele. “This is a tough fight but that’s how I like my fights to be. I’ll be ready for it.”
Wilkinson (10-6) returns to action for the first time since last December when he dropped a unanimous decision loss to Alan Johnston at Cage Warriors 50, which snapped a three-fight win-streak.
The 26-year-old, who has taken seven of his 10 wins by submission, featured on the finale of season 12 of The Ultimate Fighter in 2010 and inked an exclusive multi-fight deal with Cage Warriors last year.
Wilkinson said: “Bola’s a great fighter and this is a good fight; one that has definite Fight of the Night potential. But I firmly believe I can put in a strong performance and get the win.”
