Sam Stout was set to face Dennis Siver at UFC 137 on October 29th in Las Vegas. But due to reasons unknown at this point he has withdrawn from the event. Stout recently lost his brother-in-law and trainer Shawn Tompkins who died earlier this month, but we do not yet know if this is the reason for him choosing not to compete at the event. As a result of Sam’s withdrawal Donald Cerrone has stepped up to take his place. Cerrone has won his last five fights, two of them in the WEC and the most recent three victories were scored inside the UFC octagon. Donald has picked up three bonuses out of those five fights. Two were “Fight Of The Night” one against Jamie Varner in the WEC and one against Paul Kelly at UFC 126. His most recent payout was earned against Charles Oliveira for “Knockout Of The Night” at the Hardy Vs Lytle UFC on Versus event. Cerrone will take on Dennis Siver who is currently on a four fight win streak. Siver is also no stranger to bonus money having picked up “Fight Of The Night”, “Knockout Of The Night” and “Submission Of The Night” awards while in the UFC. This is sure to be a great fight and I cannot think of any better replacement then Donald Cerrone.
Thanks guys,
Jay Cee.
