  • ECC Banned 300x212 Extreme Cage Championships announce unified amateur undercard for Oct. 12MMA promotion, Extreme Cage Championships, will host their first ever MMA event on Saturday, October 12th, 2013, which will take place from the Norbreck Castle in Blackpool, Lancashire, and will be entitled, ECC Banned I.

    ECC: Extreme Cage Championships are proud to announce their Unified Amateur Rules (UAR) undercard for their up-and-coming event, ECC Banned I, which will take place on Saturday, October 12th, and will showcase fourteen unified amateur bouts, plus three UAR title fights. ECC Banned I will also feature a professional main card.

    The amateur undercard will feature a heavyweight battle between HAMMA’s Rob Beach (3-0-0) and Hyde MMA’s Tom Bankevic (2-0-1), who will collide for the ECC heavyweight title. Pure MMA’s “Dirty” Harry Marple (5-0-0) will take on Blackburn Predators Joe Nazokatov (5-1-0) for the ECC lightweight title, whilst 12 Gauge MMA’s Carl Burton (4-0-0) will battle it out against HAMMA’s Ben Dearden (5-1-0) for the ECC bantamweight title.

    Also on the amateur undercard will feature two woman’s MMA bouts, when Manchester Predators Liana Tunmer takes on Blackpool’s Sarah White, and Portsmouth’s Bryony Tyrell will take on West Bromwich’s Jemma Jacques.

    The remainder of the ECC: Extreme Cage Championships amateur undercard contains some of the North-West top amateur talent. The undercard for this event could easily feature as the main card on any amateur MMA promotions within the UK. ECC: Extreme Cage Championships is a professional promotion that pride themselves on not only providing fighters with a safe and professional platform to compete on, but also ensure that they offer all their fans a night packed full of top fights and will be an evening that they will never forget.

    The ECC Banned I professional main card is expected to be announced later this week, and promises to be worth the wait.

    Lightweight: Liam Dooley vs. Mark Carter

    Lightweight: Joe Naraynsingh vs. Ricky Clarke

    Featherweight: Sarah White vs. Liana Tunmer

    Featherweight: Jack Cartwright vs. TBC

    Featherweight: Josh Connor vs. Liam Shaw

    Flyweight: Bryony Tyrell vs. Jemma Jacques.

    Flyweight: James Hillman vs. Jack Eaton
