TIM ‘THE EXPERIMENT’ WILDE VS JEFFERSON GEORGE – LIGHTWEIGHT BOUT
Tim ’The Experiment’ Wilde fights out of UTC Cannock and holds a Professional record of 2-0-0. Undefeated at Amateur, he attained three 1st round finishes over 3 fights. Wilde’s professional debut was at Lionheart FC 2 on 23rd Marchwhere he defeated Dean Williams by Rear Naked Choke in the second round. At BAMMA 13, he took Stephen Martin the full distance to win by Unanimous Decision. Coming from a Karate background, Wilde is renowned for tenacious striking; so much so that he was reputedly disqualified from a world championship contest in Karate for too much contact. Wilde currently also trains and spars at the Rough House.
Jefferson George also now known as ’Shadow Demon Blaximus’ fights out of Morefire Icon Jiu Jitsu Team in Luton with a professional MMA record of 3-1. All his victories to date have been attained by Submission, with his one loss via Decision. George is reputed for his Thai-boxing, BJJ and his athletic power. George defeated Marius Marzec at BAMMA 13 by Rear Naked Choke at the close of Round 2.
George said: “I cannot wait to return to BAMMA in December. It’s a great promotion and I intend to make it my home for a very long time. I am fighting Tim Wilde who is also making his second appearance on BAMMA. We fought each other in the Amateur leagues, which I won and both of us have progressed a lot since then. There’s no way Tim is taking this fight lightly and neither am I. He’s a tough guy and I am looking forward to a war.
I know the fans are going to really enjoy this one: I’m not sure if it’s going to be a stand up or ground war but either way both of us will be ready, I am sure. Roll on December 14th!”
TIM MENZIES VS JAMES SAMUDA – WELTERWEIGHT BOUT
Tim Menzies fights out of Andy Roberts BJJ and holds a professional record of 0-0-0 and an Amateur (Semi-Pro) record of 4-1-0. A dangerous striker, Menzies matches his Amateur record with a 4-1-0 in K1. His K1 debut saw him win 2 out 3 bouts in a one-night tournament to beat the 2 favourites, and go on to lose the 3rd on decision, Although he impressed K1 scouts, he decided to focus on his MMA. Reputed on his local circuit as an exciting prospect, Menzies holds a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and has also spent time training out in the United States with Matt Hughes at Hughes Intensive Training.
Birmingham’s James Samuda carries a professional MMA record of 1-0-0, and an Amateur record of 3-1-1. His Pro debut victory over Max Cotton came via 2nd round Rear Naked Choke in April. Samuda trains with Tom Breese at Fearless MMA and is said to be extremely athletic and well rounded.
Samuda said: ”I’m looking forward to showcasing my skills on BAMMA in my home town of Birmingham and representing my team, Fearless MMA. I always go in looking to finish the fight and this fight will be no different.”
