The latest fight to be added to the UFC 140 card is between Jared Hamman and Constantinos Philippou. These two middleweights will go head to head on December 10th 2011 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada.
Jared Hamman scored his most recent victory in his middleweight debut against C.B Dollaway. He won the fight via TKO in the second round at a UFC Live event that took place in August of this year. A victory against Philippou would confirm that his move to middleweight was the right decision.
Looking for his second win in the UFC will be Constantinos Philippou who was victorious in his last fight against Jorge Rivera. He was brought in as a replacement to fight Rivera after Alessio Sakara was forced to drop out of the fight due to an injury. He won the fight via unanimous decision and will now look for a decisive win to cement his presence within the organisation.
One thing this fight will not be is boring. Hamman has won “fight of the night” honors in two of his last three fights in the octagon and I am sure he will try to do the same again. Philippou will definitly want to put on a good show and a strong performance so we may see sparks fly! Lets hope so.
Thanks guys,
Jay Cee.
