The latest news to emerge about Nate Marquardt is that he has signed to the UK based promotion BAMMA. As most of you may know Nate was released from the UFC over issues relating to the use of testosterone replacement. That has all happened and now Marquardt’s suspension has been lifted by the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission. This put Nate back on the market and available to promotions. Rather then trying to find a way of getting back into the UFC Nate has decided to sign with the UK’s number one promotion BAMMA. This is potentially a great move for him and the promotion which is still growing in popularity all the time. Fighters such as Frank Trigg, Paul Daley and Tom Watson have all worked with the promotion and they continue to bring in more and more top class talent with each event. I very much look forward to seeing Nate in action at BAMMA and would love to see him face Tom “Kong” Watson for the Middleweight title at some point.
